Florida Seascapes by Carol Kepp

About the Artist

Carol Kepp was educated in advertising at the Cleveland Inst of Art and the Cleveland Ad School. Carol returned to fine art and is teaching art classes and workshops at the Hobe Sound Fine Arts League Gallery and Jay Mar Art Store in Stuart. Working with adults that have a desire to find their hidden talent has brought me much joy.

After moving to the east coast of Florida, she found Ted Goerschner, who was a professional artist and teacher and began her studies with him. He influenced her to paint in the impressionist style leaving the detail to the viewer. The colors of the ocean inspired her to paint seascapes.

Carol Kepp received many awards in local and national competitions. "The Art for Living Calendar" chose two pieces of art work for their 2004 and 2008 calendars. "The Holy Trinity" was a mural painted for St. Martin de Porres Church in Jensen Beach Florida. This mural was painted in oil on canvas and was installed 19 feet above the alter. The mural is 30' x 9'

Carol resides in Stuart and her art work can be enjoyed at Gallery-Zafka Studios, Jensen Beach, Rare Earth Gallery, Stuart, and Garden of Goods Gallery, Hobe Sound Fl.
